OMEGA Environmental Technologies (Europe) Ltd, to give the company its’ full name, is the London-based satellite of Omega, a multinational air-conditioning & refrigeration firm.
Originally a part of the J. Gerber group, it currently has satellite offices around the world. What this means is that each office is completely independent from each other, while maintaining group ties & able to draw from the products & services of its sister companies.
Omega Europe began 10 years ago in the U.K. as an importer of a/c equipment, still maintaining a
small contracting arm to
install & maintain its own equipment.
Slowly, Omega has grown as a contractor in its own right, specialising in Daikin equipment while still supplying & installing its own.
Currently Omega supplies a few U.K. companies with OEM products, drawn from its pool of satellite companies, and maintains stock of Omega split units plus spares.
In 2004, Omega Europe doubled its turnover, and stock levels of Omega & other brands rose to more than £100,000 at any one time.
A small fleet of production vans with qualified engineers makes Omega Europe a truly tight ship; able to Design, Supply, Install & Maintain all aspects of air conditioning, mechanical services & cold stores.
For 2005 Omega looks forward to the following:
· Continuation of its contracting business.
· Expansion of its scheduled service work.
· Successful production of cold stores
· Exploitation of two strategic partnerships:
1. That with CFA of Atlanta, Georgia: the design & installation of fruit-ripening chambers, in both the U.K. & Europe, and,
2. .. that with al-Issa Industries to distribute the Crafft range of conservatory & window-mounted air conditioners.
Not withstanding any success, the policy of Omega is:
· .. to never to take any of the above as granted:
· .. to take each job, no matter how small, as though it is its first,
· The Omega credo is Courtesy, Commitment & Service.
